Set Up Your Kitchen for Success in 2026
One of the best things you can do to set yourself up for success this year is to get your kitchen working FOR you instead of against you.
Start by doing a quick pantry and fridge cleanout. Toss anything expired, stale, or that you know doesn't make you feel good (I'm looking at you, half-empty bag of stale chips).
Then stock up on the staples that make healthy eating easy: quality proteins like chicken, ground turkey, salmon, and eggs; healthy fats like avocado oil, olive oil, and nuts; complex carbs like quinoa, sweet potatoes, and brown rice; and tons of frozen veggies (they're just as nutritious and way more convenient!).
Keep your favorite spices and seasonings front and center so cooking doesn't feel boring. Spices give your food FLAVOR so you love it! Spices are calorie free too!
For meal prep, pick ONE day a week to batch cook proteins, chop veggies, and portion out snacks.
