The 3-Day Tracker

Here’s something I do when I’m feeling extra puffy and can’t figure out why.

For 3 mornings, write down just four things:

What you ate the day before.
How you slept.
How your body feels that morning.
Your stress level the day before.

That’s it. No calorie counting. No tracking app. No trying to “fix” anything yet.

On day 4, look at all three days together and see if you can spot ONE thing that keeps showing up on your puffiest mornings. Maybe it was a later dinner, less sleep, more stress, alcohol, a certain food, sometimes the pattern is not what you expected.

Pick that ONE thing and experiment with reducing or changing it for the next 5 days. Not forever. Just five days. Pay attention to how you feel and whether you notice a difference.

Because our first instinct when we feel puffy is often to eat less and exercise more. I did that for years.

But puffiness isn't automatically a sign that you need fewer calories or more cardio. Sleep, stress, digestion, hormones, sodium, hydration and even certain foods can all affect how you look and feel from one day to the next.

So instead of throwing seven different solutions at your body at once, become a little detective. Change one variable and see what your body tells you.

The full guide walks you through the rest of my 10-day plan, including what to look for and what to add while you’re experimenting.
