Enjoy the Cookout. Keep the Progress.
While everyone else is deep in the hot dog and hamburger debate this week, I just want to pop in and remind you of something important: you do NOT have to choose between enjoying the Fourth of July and taking care of yourself.
These are not opposites. Have the burger. Have the dessert. Grab a second helping of that corn salad.
And then get outside for a walk, drink your water, hit your protein goals, and lift a little heavier this week because that's just what we DO. 💪
Here's the thing about one holiday, one cookout, one slice of cheesecake. It does not undo your progress. Not even close.
What matters is what you do MOST of the time, and if you've been showing up consistently, one fun day is not going to derail you. It's actually going to fuel you.
So go enjoy your people, your food, and your holiday and come back Monday ready to keep going.
