60-Second Healthy Aging Tip
One mobility move every woman over 45 should do: The World's Greatest Stretch.
If you only have one minute to improve your mobility today, make it this one.
This stretch opens your hips, loosens your hamstrings, improves thoracic spine rotation, and helps counteract all the sitting we do throughout the day. Better mobility doesn't just help you move better in the gym. It can make everyday activities like bending down, reaching overhead, and getting up from the floor feel easier too.
Try it:
• Step into a deep lunge with your back leg extended.
• Place both hands inside your front foot.
• Rotate your upper body and reach the arm closest to your front leg toward the ceiling.
• Hold for a breath or two, then repeat on the other side.
Aim for 3–5 reps per side before your workout or anytime you feel stiff.
Remember: You don't lose mobility because you get older—you lose it because you stop moving.
